Breitling uses their own in house calibers for the more expensive watches and well selected Swiss made calibers based on ETA , Sellita or Dubois-Depraz for less costly watches. Calibers 01, B02, B03 and B04 are made by Breitling “in house”

Caliber 01

Breitling Caliber 01 is automatic chronograph watch movement introduced by Breitling in 2009. It is a certified chronometer with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours 1. The movement has 47 jewels and vibrates at 28,800 vph .  The movement is found in a many modern Breitling models like for example  SuperOcean Heritage B01

Caliber B02

Breitling Caliber B02 is a hand-wound version of the Breitling Caliber B01 movement, which is a manual-wound chronograph movement that enables you to measure elapsed times with the utmost precision while displaying time in a 24h format. The movement has 47 jewels and vibrates at 28,800 vph. The power reserve of the movement is approximately 70 hours. The Caliber B02 is a certified chronometer. It was dedicated to the Navitimer Cosmonaute, the “First Swiss wristwatch in Space“ .

Breitling Caliber B03 is an automatic rattrapante chronograph movement produced by Breitling since 2017. It is based on the Breitling Caliber B01 movement, which is a modern automatic chronograph movement with a column wheel and vertical clutch 2. The Caliber B03 has 47 jewels and vibrates at 28,800 vph. The power reserve of the movement is approximately 70 hours 1. The Caliber B03 is a certified chronometer. Breitling Navitimer Rattrapante uses this movement.

Breitling Caliber B04 is an automatic chronograph movement with 47 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The movement vibrates at 28,800 bph and is a certified chronometer. The Caliber B04 is based on the Breitling Caliber B01 movement, which is a modern automatic chronograph movement with a column wheel and vertical clutch. The main difference between the two is that the Caliber B04 adds a central GMT hand (second time zone) complication.

Breitling Caliber 10 is an automatic time-only movement that is based on the caliber ETA 2892-A2 1. The movement has 21 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. It is a certified chronometer. This caliber is used in many Breitling models. Example is the Transocean Date.

Breitling Caliber 13 is an automatic chronograph movement that is based on the ETA Valjoux 7750 movement. It is an integrated chronograph with quickset date. The movement has 25 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 42 hours . The frequency of the movement is 28,800 bph. The Caliber 13 is a certified chronometer.
